How many bugs do you think are in your backyard? These little creatures have so many jobs so lets learn more about their purposes, their homes, and how diverse these little helpers are! We will see our favorite bugs in action and explore their intricacies!
Note: Brownies will earn and receive the Bug Badge. Daisies will receive a fun patch. Adult chaperones will be required.
This program will spark interest in the following career paths: entomology
Outcomes: D3, D5, C5, T2
GSHOMs goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 5.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
