While you can't predict when an emergency will occur, you can be prepared. In less time than you think, this course can give you the vital knowledge and skills you'll need to respond to a life-threatening situation with confidence. Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course covers first aid and adult/child CPR in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. ARC first aid certification is valid for three years. ARC adult/child CPR certification is valid for one year.

Course Type: First Aid and/or CPR

Recommended for: Any volunteer who would like to receive the American Red Cross' First Aid and CPR certifications. A first aider is needed anytime a troop goes on a trip.
