The focus of this session is on what volunteers need to know about advanced outdoor adventures and trip planning using the Girl Scout Leadership Experience processes. Topics include: the basic eight skills of outdoor objectives, advanced cooking (over various heat sources), equipment rental, camp/tent care, knots, outdoor etiquette, and health and safety. Some Outdoor II sessions will offer an optional overnight.

Course Type: Outdoor Skills

Required for: Leaders or designated outdoor skills resource adults in order to go tent camping and outdoor cooking.

Prerequisites: Trip Planning and Outdoor Skills 1
