Bronze Award


The Girl Scout Bronze Award is a leadership adventure and the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your project, you'll develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference.

Below is an overview of the requirements to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award. In order to fully understand what is expected of girls, please refer to the Bronze Award girl guidelines, the Bronze Award Adult guide, and the FAQs.

Girl Scout Bronze Award Prerequisites
Girls must be in 4th or 5th grade (or equivalent) and be a registered Girl Scout Junior AND complete a Junior Journey.

The steps you'll take:

  1. Build your Girl Scout Junior team.
  2. Explore your community.
  3. Choose your Girl Scout Bronze Award project.
  4. Make a plan.
  5. Put your plan in motion.
  6. Spread the word.
