Description: For Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts

Learn about the culinary world from the experts. We’ll explore a commercial kitchen, and learn food safety and kitchen skills. A professional chef will help you learn how to make a dish that you can take home to wow your family and friends. How cool is that?

Note: Fun patches are available for $2 each. While we learn about the culinary arts, we will not be sampling our creations – please eat dinner prior!

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult to girl ratio to:

Daisy: 1 adult to every 5 girls
Brownie: 1 adult to every 6 girls
Junior: 1 adult to every 8 girls
Cadette: 1 adult to every 10 girls
Senior/Ambassador: 1 adult to every 12 girls

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the ratio listed above.
