The 5th Annual Girl Developers Summit: “True Respect Starts on the Inside”
The Girl Developers Summit will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Bronson Gilmore Center in Kalamazoo. The goal of the summit is to raise awareness about the issues that are important to girls and will teach adults to become sensitive, yet effective “girl developers.” It will also help parents, mentors, and/or role models to become more effective at identifying important issues for girls and giving girls the tools they need to develop courage, confidence and character.Please click here to download the brochure and registration form. Have you heard? Girl Scouts is transforming leadership development with the launch of the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience. We are focusing on specific outcomes or benefits that girls gain through membership in Girl Scouts. To guide girls and adults through this transformation, GSUSA offers a brand new series of girl activity guides and companion adult guides calledIt's Your World -Change It! These books are part of the Journey series - there is one for each age level from Daisies through Ambassadors. Each journey offers meaningful experiences centered on three keys that equal leadership - discover, connect and take action.
