(Ann Arbor, MI --) Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan has the perfect item to keep the cold out - a fleece blanket that raises money for girls whose parents cannot afford Girl Scout uniforms, books and badges.
"You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you support a good cause?" said Mittie McMaster, retail sales manager for Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan. "Well, now you can enjoy the emotional "warm fuzzies" as well as a literal warm fuzzy feeling, by wrapping yourself in a soft pink fleece blanket from the Girl Scouts!"
Blankets are available at S'more Stuff Council Shop, at the Ann Arbor Regional Center of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan, 1900 Manchester Road, Ann Arbor. The $5 charged for the blanket will go to the GSHOM uniform fund, to supply Girl Scout gear to girls in financial need. Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan invites girls everywhere to become Girl Scouts.
