About Us
Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is a community-based organization serving a current girl membership of more than 25,000 girls and 6,500 adults. Membership is open to all girls ages five through 17 and to adults, both women and men, who subscribe to the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout Law.

Board of Trustees
First and foremost, the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan, GSHOM, Board of Trustees advocates for girls and Girl Scouting. They believe deeply in the mission and the leadership potential of girls. The board stewards the council's resources, represents GSHOM in the community, carries out long range planning for the direction of the council, oversees the financial security of the council, resolves policy issues, supervises and advises the CEO and engages in fundraising for the council.
