At Girl Scouts, you’re going to have tons of fun, make new friends,

Our program centers on something called the Girl Scout Leadership
Experience—a collection of activities and experiences you’ll have as
you earn badges, sell cookies, go on exciting trips, explore the
outdoors, do Take Action projects that make a difference, and more.
Put simply, in Girl Scouts you will:
Discover. You’ll find out who you are, what you care about, and what your talents are.
Connect. Collaborate with other people, locally and globally, to make a difference in the world.
Take Action. Do something to make the world a better place.
With the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan, you will also learn how to advocate for yourself, and others, as part of the Equality for Girls initiative. Girls in today’s world face many challenges, from the classroom to the boardroom, including gendered behavioral expectations, bullying and abuse, career tracking, and unequal wages; and the time has come to do something about it!
We believe that all girls should be on a level playing field as they move into adulthood, and we have developed programs and learning experiences that will help to give our girls the skills and abilities to make this a possibility for themselves and for generations to come.
