Engage in discussion on what “Positivity” means from a leadership perspective, explore growth mindset and discuss impact of language on behavior outcomes and mental outlook. Discuss positive behavior management strategies and peer to peer conflict resolution.
Developing a STEM Session for FUN! (Session 6)
Starting with NASA resources for the classroom, we will look for the fun hands on pieces to use with a troop. Have a badge your troop is interested in? We can group think a fun way to implement the requirements.
Girl Scout Leadership Awards (Session 6)
Learn about the Leadership Track for Girl Scouts, from Junior Aide all the way through CIT II, and chat about the highest awards for Girl Scouts (Bronze, Silver, and Gold.)
Girl Scout Traditions and Friendship (Session 6)
Girl Scouts has a 110 year old tradition of friendship. You will learn about some Girl Scout traditions like Girl Scout handshake, swaps (what they are and what is their purpose), how to fold a piece of paper into a drinking cup, and you will make a variety of friendship bracelets for all abilities using different materials. You will receive your own Rainbow finger loom to make a rubber band friendship bracelet. Additional fee: $5.00.
Leave No Trace (Session 6)
Learn how to camp, have fun, share amazing experiences, and go home leaving no signs that your Girl Scouts had even been there!

Walking Sticks 1 & 2 (Part 1 Session 1-2 and Part 2 Session 6)
Have you ever wanted a walking stick? Now is your chance to come and make one. We will be whittling, sanding, and staining our stick creations. Find your own stick or use one supplied. This class is in two parts to allow sticks time to dry between sessions.
