Open the door to the world of automotive design, engineering, and manufacturing. Learn from the amazing folks at the Gilmore Car Museum how vehicles go from being an idea to driving on the street by turning ideas into vehicle designs, learn how people use science to make vehicles that are powered by eco-friendly fuels, apply these ideas to making a prototype of a toy car that uses eco-friendly power source, and learn how people organize factories and work together to build lots of vehicles and create assembly plan for your toy car.

Note: Junior Automotive Engineering badges—Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering included. Please, bring a sack lunch. Adult chaperones will be required at this event but will not be participating.

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult to girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
