Daisies will build a model car, Brownies will build a spring bot and Juniors will build a paddle boat.

Note: Participants will receive the following badges for attending the event: Daisies will receive the Model Car Design Challenge Badge; Brownies will receive the Leap Bot Design Challenge Badge; Juniors will receive the Paddle Boat Design Challenge Badge. Adult chaperones will be required.

This program will spark interest in the following career paths: mechanical engineer, car/boat  designer

Outcomes: D1, D5, C2, T2

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 5.

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
