Come face-to-face with animals you don't get to see every day, like
a sloth, a warthog,and an emu - you might even get to touch them!
Learn about how critters adapt to their
environment, what their
habitats are like, and how they live at the Creature Conservancy. Ask
animal professionals anything you want to know!
Note: Girls must be at least 6 years old to attend this program. Juniors will earn and receive the Animal Habitats Badge after completing the program. All other grade levels will receive a fun patch. Adult chaperones will be required at this event but will not be participating.

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult to girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
