Do you want to learn more the stars, the planets, and our galaxy? Join us at Impression 5 Science Center and earn your Space Science Investigator badge! We’ll take a closer look at star constellations, investigate Mars, and journey on a planet walk!

Note: Participants will receive the Space Science Investigator badge. Admission to the science center is included in workshop cost for all participating Girl Scouts and their chaperones. Please bring weather-appropriate clothing and shoes for the outdoor portion of this workshop. Adult chaperones will be required .

This program will spark interest in the following career path: astronomer, astronaut

Outcomes: D1, D5, T5

GSHOM’s goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
