Are you curious about the stars, planets, and vastness of outer space? Create and engineer like an astronomer as you explore the night sky, investigate into light, and learn how to see space in a new way! Theres more than the eye can see out there.

Note: Girl Scouts will receive the Discover Space Badge. Adult chaperones will be required .
This program will spark interest in the following career paths: mechanical engineer, product designer
Outcomes: D4, D5, C2, T2

GSHOMs goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 5.

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
