Sweet, sticky, yummy Maple Syrup! Where does it come from? How is it made? Come and learn about the centuries old tradition of maple syrup. Join us for our 10th year of making maple syrup! You'll help tap a tree, collect sap and watch it cook down to the tasty topping for pancakes. You'll learn about trees and the health benefits of maple syrup, then come inside to a hot delicious brunch of Pancakes and Sausage.

Note: Please dress for the weather, as the program is mostly outdoors. Adult chaperones will be required

Outcomes: D3, C5, T2, T5

GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
