The Girl Scouts will learn how to program, build, problem-solve, and work together in a team. Throughout the day the Robostangs will give a tour of our workshop and provide a live demonstration of our robot. At the end of the event, the sumo bots will compete against each other!

Note: Girl Scouts will earn and receive the Programming Robots, Designing Robots and Showcasing Robots badges.Participants need to bring a sack lunch. Adult chaperones will be required.

Outcomes: D4, D5, C2, T2, T4

GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
