Take a step back into yesteryear and find out what it was like to be a student in a one-room schoolhouse. What would you play at recess? What would you learn in class? What would you have gotten up to after school? Engage with living history at the Ella Sharp Historic Farm Lane through crafts and games!

Note: Girl Scouts will earn and receive the Brownie Celebrating Community Badge, or the Junior Playing the Past Badge. Adult chaperones will be required.

This program will spark interest in the following career paths: educator, historian Outcomes:

D1, D2, C5, T4

GSHOMs goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
