Do you know how to use everything in a first aid kit? Could you help out in a medical emergency? Come to this state-of-the-art simulation center at Western Michigan University, Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, for hands-on learning experiences with medical students and professionals.
This program will spark interest in the following career paths: Doctor, EMT, Nurse, Pediatrician, Surgeon
Outcomes: D3, D5, C2, C3, C5,T1, T2
Included in Girl Registration Cost:
* 2 hours of hands-on programming with students and professionals from the Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine
* A lesson on important first aid skills at a state-of-the-art simulation center
* Earn and receive your First Aid Badge
Costs:
$20.00 per girl
$5.00 per adult
PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event. At least two adults are REQUIRED to accompany every troop/group to an event.
