Volunteer Recognition

We are grateful for our volunteers and community partners' contributions to Girl Scouting. It is our joy to recognize their exemplary service through the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan and Girl Scouts of the USA Adult Awards.

Every year we honor & celebrate those whose outstanding performance and contributions have become keys to the success of our programs, projects, and events – helping girls build confidence, increase skills, and reach their full potential!

Did You Know? You can recognize your Girl Scout champions!

Know a troop leader, volunteer, meeting location, cookie booth, or community partner that goes above and beyond to support Girl Scouts? You can nominate them for an award!

You can nominate:

Troop Leaders and Volunteers who inspire girls, support their growth, and make a difference in their Girl Scout experience.
Troop or Service Unit meeting locations that provide a welcoming space for Girl Scouts to learn and grow.
Favorite Nut Hut or Cookie Booth locations that help Girl Scouts explore entrepreneurship.
Schools, School Districts, Libraries, and Community Partners that make a difference for Girl Scouts in your area.

Don’t forget to involve your Girl Scouts! They can share their own stories and write endorsement letters to show just how much their leaders, volunteers, and community supporters mean to them.

Applications are due by January 15, 2027.
