Our Media Girls Team is made up of Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts who help and create content about the incredible things that Girl Scouts do in our council. The girls work with our Marketing and Communications team and other industry experts to learn about different media types and how to create fun and exciting content!
What They Do
- Participate in radio and TV interviews where they talk about what it’s like to be a Girl Scout.
- Create video content for our TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
- Explore interests in photography, graphic design, writing, and videography.
- Write as a guest author on our Girl Scouts blog.
- Plan and participate in several in-person content creation days throughout the year.

Once you’ve submitted your information, you’ll be added to our list of Media Girls to contact for future interviews, opportunities to go to program events, and dates for upcoming content creation days to attend!
Cotent Creation Events
Be on the lookout for content creation days throughout the year! During these content creation days, we will make videos for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram Reels, and do stylized photoshoots for promotions to be posted on our various Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan media platforms.
