Clare County, MI — Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan is proud to announce it has received a grant from the Clare County Community Foundation to support financial assistance, program supplies, and direct services for Girl Scouts across Clare County.
This funding will directly support both classic and outreach Girl Scout memberships, including participation in the SPARKS program—a leadership development initiative designed to meet girls where they are and help them grow into confident, courageous young leaders.
“The Clare County Community Foundation exists to cultivate the power of giving within our community, support long-term transformation, and help ensure all residents thrive,” said a spokesperson for the Foundation.
“Clare County Girl Scouting and the SPARKS program, supported by the Clare County Community Foundation, empower girls in Clare County to develop leadership skills that foster courage, confidence, and character to create positive change in the world,” said Kenzie Pomaville, a Grant Proposal Specialist at Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan.
With the help of this grant, more girls in Clare County will have access to the life-changing experiences Girl Scouting offers like camp, STEM activities, community service, and so much more.
