Day Camp is conveniently located in our Kalamazoo Regional Center in the heart of Kalamazoo. Day Camp runs for eight continuous weeks! More than half our time each week is spent outside. Day Camp is a fantastic way to start a summer camp tradition where each week, she’ll enjoy an exciting theme, try new things while earning a badge or fun patch, visit camp on a field trip, and go on adventures with new friends.
Ann Arbor Day Camp
Day Camp is conveniently located in our Ann Arbor Regional Center in Whitmore Lake. Day Camp runs for eight continuous weeks! More than half our time each week is spent outside. Day Camp is a fantastic way to start a summer camp tradition where each week, she’ll enjoy an exciting theme, try new things while earning a badge or fun patch, visit camp on a field trip, and go on adventures with new friends.
Come out for the day to visit camp!
We also have other events at our camp properties designed for troops and families, which are an excellent option for first-time and seasoned campers to come out for the day!

Camp O' the Hills

Share the wonder of Camp O’ the Hills with your family! Embark on a family adventure that includes Archery or Geocaching, along with nature exploration, outdoor cooking, slingshots, and a fun craft.
*Must be entering 2nd grade to participate in archery.
Alma Day Camp

Day 1: archery, boating, BB guns, craft, geocaching
Day 2: archery, boating, BB guns, fi shing, letterboxing
Join Camp O’ the Hills staff for exciting camp adventures at the Barbara Osterman Cabin. Activities will include boating, outdoor cooking, archery, BB guns, hiking, and nature crafts. Lunch is included each day.
Can sign up for either day or both, package deal to include tenting option with dinner day 1, breakfast day 2

Get ready for a fun-fi lled day outside just for you and your troop or your family! At our Discover Camp program, you’ll explore nature, play awesome games, try your hand at archery, climb to new heights on our climbing wall, and show your grown-ups what makes Camp Merrie Woode so special. From nature hikes and scavenger hunts to creative crafts and team challenges, there’s something for every explorer. You’ll lead the way as you and your family discover new things, meet other campers, and enjoy a day full of laughter, learning, and adventure.
So pack your backpack, bring your favorite adults, bring a friend, and come ready to explore. We can’t wait to see what you discover!
Tubing the Looking Glass River

Float down the scenic Looking Glass River on a tubing adventure at Camp Wacousta, where fun and friendship fl ow as easily as the water! In addition to the river ride, campers enjoy classic outdoor experiences like cooking over a crackling fi re, testing their aim at archery, and exploring the regional center trading post for unique camp treasures. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, skill-building, and summertime memories!
Includes Lunch. Participants will be given a time for your 1-hour river fl oat upon arrival.
