These events are for girls in grades K-12th and families unless specified otherwise. Adults are required to accompany girls. Refer to the Safety Activity Checkpoints to find the minimum adult to youth ratio. Juliettes are welcome with an accompanying adult.
Join us for an unforgettable hands-on conservation experience at Camp O’ the Hills! In this unique camp program, you will become wildlife scientists, helping to protect Michigan’s native turtle species during their critical nesting season. Head into the fi eld to observe nesting behavior, record scientifi c data, and identify turtle species found in local habitats.
You’ll learn how to spot active nests and work to build and install predator screens and nesting boxes to improve hatchling survival rates. Through guided activities and real-world science, you’ll dive into turtle ecology— learning about threats to turtle populations, the importance of wetlands, and what it means to be a steward of local wildlife. Perfect for nature lovers, aspiring scientists, and conservationminded Girl Scouts!

The name Jamboree is derived from the Swahili word “jambo” meaning “hello” and at this classic and exciting event, you’ll get the chance to say hello to your Girl Scout friends and family from across the state! Meet friends from other troops, bring and create S.W.A.P.S. to share with your fellow Girl Scouts, and celebrate Girl Scout traditions all weekend long with camp activities from boating to tie dye to archery and so much more! Stay for the whole weekend of fun, or come out for the day on Saturday to enjoy a day of adventure! This is a great program for new and seasoned troops alike!

Whether you’re paddling on the water or hitting the target, this campout is all about outdoor fun and making memories!

Ready to take your outdoor skills to the next level? You’ll spend Saturday honing skills like fire building, outdoor cooking, navigation, and shelter building before you compete in our Outdoor Skills Challenge that evening! You’ll also get the chance to try out classic camp activities like boating, riflery, tie dye, and archery. All experience levels are welcome. You can bring any adult woman over the age of 18 for this adventure packed weekend.

It’s the ultimate mix of learning and lakeside fun for you and your troop!

Please note that this is not a drop-off event, and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios must be met in order to participate. At least two adults are required to accompany every troop/group to an event.
