It's time to explore your senses with different activities to use all five! Guess what you're touching in the mystery box, taste test jellybean flavors, see if you can follow a smell using just your nose, and more! Experience different ways to navigate the world through your senses by practicing reading Braille and reading lips. By the end, you'll feel like a certified sense scientist!
Note: Brownies will earn their Senses badge. Daisies and Juniors will recieve a fun patch. Adult chaperones will be required.
Outcomes: D1, D3, D4, D5, C2, C4, T3, T4
GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
