The Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Women of Distinction event brings together and recognizes a group of purpose-driven leaders who possess a passion for the people & places that make up their everyday lives.
A Woman of Distinction is a woman who inspires us through her imagination, innovation, and dedication. Her talents, achievements, and service demonstrate exemplary strength and sincerity. She makes the world a better place!
Nominate someone to receive the Woman of Distinction Award or Distinguished Leader of Tomorrow Award below!
Open for submissions until July 1, 2024.
Nominations Guidelines and Selection Information:
Cannot be a Girl Scout Heart of Michigan staff, board member, committee member, or past Women of Distinction award recipient.
The nominee must possess the following characteristics:
- A role model for other women inspiring them to achieve success.
- Demonstrates excellence, accomplishment and creativity.
- Exhibits qualities of leadership, teamwork, integrity and dedication.
- Committed to improving the community.
The Women of Distinction committee will choose the five winners by end of July. If your nominee is selected, a committee member will notify you and the award recipient upon completion of the review process. You will each receive a complimentary ticket to the event held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, to honor the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Women of Distinction awardees.
