Join us in celebrating a century of global sisterhood, leadership, and action with World Thinking Day: 100th Anniversary! This special program honors 100 years of World Thinking Day - a movement that has united Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the globe in reflection, connection, and change-making since 1926. In this commemorative event, girls will explore the rich history of World Thinking Day, learn about the lives and cultures of girls in different countries, and reflect on what it means to be part of a global community. Through engaging activities, creative projects, storytelling, and service-inspired challenges, Girl Scouts will celebrate the power of thinking globally and acting locally.
Note: Adult Chaperones will be required.
Outcomes: D1, D4, C4, C5, T1, T3
GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
