In addition to traditional camp activities, all campers attending camp will participate in themed activities such as all-camp games, competitions, and dinners. Horseback riding is only available if a Horseback Riding Camp session is selected.
This week's theme will be Outta This World. Houston, we have an awesome week at camp! This week you'll blast off into the far reaches of the galaxy and discover the wonders of space. You'll have the opportunity to search for alien life, build your very own bottle rockets, and learn about the clouds and volcanoes on Venus with hands on STEM activities. Throughout the week we'll be looking to the night sky in search of our favorite constellations and July meteor showers.

All Around Camp is about choosing your own adventure! In this program,
campers will build their schedules with options from our activity menu
and explore things that interest them. This session is perfect if
you're a first-time camper who is ready for a full week's experience
or if you are a returning camper who already loves everything that
camp has to offer.

This session is for beginner riders. You will learn
grooming, tacking, walking without being led by the instructor, proper
riding form, how to turn your horse, emergency dismounting, and how to
stop your horse. There will be morning feeding and mucking. This
course covers the basics of riding and horse care.

This session is for the intermediate rider. You will learn
to canter and improve your control at the trot. This session will
include a trail ride through Camp Linden, bareback riding, and
beginner medical care. There will be morning feedings and mucking.
This session provides the basics for horseback riding at a
canter.
This session was formerly called Horseback Riding
Level 3.
Pre-requisite: Completion of Horseback Level 2 or
Camp Director approval.

Explore Camp Linden nightlife! You'll get to experience an epic night
hike, discover new things about nocturnal animals, dissect owl
pellets, and stay up late! You will stay up later each night and sleep
in past breakfast by the end of the week. We'll make sure you have a
campfire and a midnight snack to keep you going!
Campers
in this session will earn and receive the Cadette Night Owls badge.
Entering Grades 6-12 | 6 Days | Tent Accommodations | $550
On my honor, I will try-(athlon). In this action-packed session, you
train for our first ever Camp Linden Try-athlon. You'll spend time
practicing strokes at the pool, cycling and running on the picturesque
trails, trying out some classic camp activities, and then setting your
own goals and embarking on our Try-athlon!. The Try-athalon will
consist of a 25m swim, 1 mile bike, and 1 mile run. This program is a
great way to get familiar with swimming, cycling, and running.

Breaking the rules has never been so fun! This zany and
shenanigan-filled session is perfect for anyone who wants to break the
rules. In addition to camper- choice activities, you'll get to pull
pranks, stay up past lights out, participate in a flashmob, enjoy a
movie night with midnight snacks, and even have a pizza party!
