Get ready for adventure! In partnership with Kalamazoo College Outdoor Programs, Your Girl Scouts will learn how to safely build a fire and explore the outdoors through geocaching. Using teamwork, navigation skills, and curiosity, Girl Scouts will discover hidden treasures while building confidence in the great outdoors at Camp Merrie Woode!
Outcomes: D1, D3, D5, C2, C3, T2
This program will spark interest in the following career paths: Outdoor Education, Girl Scout Troop Leader, Adventure Expert

Included in Girl Registration Cost:
* 4 hours of hands-on programming with Kalamazoo College Outdoor Programs at our beautiful Camp Merrie Woode.
* A unique experience traveling around Camp Merrie Woode with outdoor experts.
* A lesson on fire building and gaining navigation skills to use on your next camping trip to your favorite Girl Scout camp!

* Participants will earn a fun patch!

Note: Participants should pack a lunch and dress for a day outside at camp.

Costs:
$20 per girl
$5 per adult

PLEASE note that this is NOT a drop-off event and proper Girl Scout to Adult safety ratios MUST be met in order to participate in the event. At least two adults are REQUIRED to accompany every troop/group to an event.

Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
