Join us for an unforgettable hands-on conservation experience at Camp O' the Hills! In this unique camp program, you will become wildlife scientists, helping to protect Michigan's native turtle species during their critical nesting season. Head into the field to observe nesting behavior, record scientific data, and identify turtle species found in local habitats. You'll learn how to spot active nests and work to build and install predator screens and nesting boxes to improve hatchling survival rates. Through guided activities and real-world science, you'll dive into turtle ecology- learning about threats to turtle populations, the importance of wetlands, and what it means to be a steward of local wildlife.

Perfect for nature lovers, aspiring scientists, and conservation-minded Girl Scouts!
