You’re a force of nature, Girl Scout
We believe in the benefits of experiencing the outdoors! Through Girl Scout camp, your girl can do so in an all-girl environment with the support of our phenomenal camp staff. Spending time in nature, whether hanging from a climbing wall or taking a walk in the woods, has been linked with better mental, emotional, and physical health. Girls unplug as they step outside of their comfort zone and create lifelong friendships without gender bias. And, of course, Girl Scout Camp is fun!
Ways to get outdoors
Canoeing solo across a lake. Learning to canter on a horse. Counting stars in the night sky. These are just a few of the experiences awaiting Girl Scouts who are ready to explore the great outdoors. Camp and outdoor experiences can be enjoyed during summer camp, day camp, or year-round.
Whether you’re discovering the wildlife at Camp Linden, swimming in a lake for the first time at Camp Merrie Woode, planting flowers at Kalamazoo Day Camp, or helping save the turtles at Camp O' the Hills, every outdoor adventure grows your “I’ve got this” attitude. And once you unlock that confidence, you’ll aim as high as the stars you see in the night sky.

Troop & Family Camp—all year round!
We are so incredibly fortunate to have several beautiful properties that offer year-round camping for families to enjoy the outdoors in Michigan! Come have fun at camp as a family or a troop, reserve a lodge to stay overnight or just visit for a day trip, either way, your family will have a memorable time together!
Outdoor Events
Be sure to take a look at our programs to find outdoor activities & events. Celebrate & dress for Halloween at Camp Merrie Woode, go sledding at the largest hill at Camp Linden, and learn to tap maple trees to make syrup at Camp O' the Hills—there are things happening out at camp all year long!
