Join us at Camp Linden for an exciting day where equine enthusiasts can dive into the world of horses! This hands-on event is designed for those who want to learn all about caring for these magnificent animals. Throughout the day, you will engage in interactive sessions led by experienced equestrians and a veterinarian. You'll discover essential horse care techniques, from grooming and feeding to understanding basic health needs, and take a trail ride through our beautiful tree lined paths. There will be a special demonstration on physical care, where you will learn how to check for signs of health and well-being in horses. Saddle up for a fun day with these gentle giants that you won't soon forget!
Note: Participants must wear pants and closed toe shoes. Campers need to bring a sack lunch. Adult chaperones are not needed, but welcome.
