Join us at Michigan Sugar's headquarters in Bay City for Food Science Day. Hear from the Michigan Sugar team on how they safely manufacture 1.3 billion pounds of sugar each year, followed by a demonstration for the Michigan Cream & Sugar Ice Cream Company on the science of flavor development and ice cream production. A free pizza lunch and ice cream samples are included.
Note: Pizza lunch will be served in the MSC board room. Adult chaperones will be required .
GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
