Welcome to Unbridled Communication!
Get ready for an exciting adventure with horses! In this hands-on program, Girl Scouts will explore how horses communicate-without using words. Through fun and interactive activities, you'll learn how to "speak horse" by reading their body language, expressions, and behaviors.
You'll spend time getting to know our gentle horses-grooming them and practicing how to approach, lead, and respectfully interact with them. As you build trust and form real connections, you'll grow more confident and aware of how your body language and energy affect those around you.
But it's not just about horses-it's about building teamwork, responsibility, and empathy. You'll work together on group challenges, share stories, and reflect on what horses can teach us about ourselves and how we treat others.
Through creative arts and crafts and meaningful group discussions, this program helps you grow not just as a horse handler but as a thoughtful, confident communicator.

Note: Adult chaperones will be required .

GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
