The Counselor in Training (CIT) program provides a hands-on experience
that puts you on the path to becoming a Camp Counselor. In this
two-week program, you'll be trained by seasoned camp staff and learn
about leadership techniques and styles, group dynamics, outdoor
skills, age characteristics, and more! The CIT Program is designed so
that high-school aged Girl Scouts can participate in leadership
training, then apply those skills with campers in the same session.
CITs will have the opportunity to shadow counselors and work directly
with campers!
CITs who complete the program will earn and
receive the Counselor in Training pin.
