Is your Girl Scout ready to explore the wide world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math? Have her join us at Saginaw Valley State University to meet with students from various STEM fields, including biology, chemistry, and more! She will discover the different careers available to her and learn about the daily activities of professionals in STEM through several interactive activity stations.

Note: Participants will earn and receive their robotics series badges at their respective age levels, along with two additional badges to be determined as well as a gift bag for attending this event. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for both girls and adults.   Adult chaperones will be required at this event but will not be participating.

This program will spark interest in the following career paths: scientist, engineer, biologist, chemist

Outcomes: D3, D4, C1, C2, C5, T2, T5

GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.

Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
