Are you ready to get outside and explore camp? Let's hit the trail! Learn the Leave No Trace principles, what you need for a hike, and how to read trail signs and maps. Create your own signature trail mix recipe and head out on a nature hike, choosing your path as a group. Identify plants and animals and enjoy the fresh air!
Note: Girl Scouts will earn and receive either the Daisy
Eco-Learner Badge, the Brownie Hiker Badge, or the Junior Eco-Camper
Badge. Adult chaperones will be required.

GSHOM's goal is to offer quality programs to as many girls as possible. At least two adults must accompany every troop/group to an event. In order to serve as many girls as possible, and make sure there is plenty of space to provide the program, troops are asked to keep their adult-to-girl ratio to the ratio specified in Volunteer Essentials for Events/Programs. Please click here for the link to Safety Activity Checkpoints and refer to page 7. Cancellations require two weeks' notice to be eligible for a refund.
Troops/groups that register more adults than listed in the ratio listed above may be asked to limit the number of adults to the correct ratio.
